Moolchand has received the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Healthcare category.Started in 1996, these awards are conferred on organizations that have adapted and promoted various quality initiatives on a sustained basis. The award is modeled on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (USA) and is one of the most prestigious quality awards in India. This award gives recognition to institutions that demonstrate outstanding customer orientation and quality management systems. (Valid 2009)

Moolchand is the first hospital in the world to receive this certification for development and maintenance of an effective and efficient organization. Formulated by British Standards India, this recognition highlights Moolchand’s best in-class performance on a scoring level based on eight management principles of ISO 9001 and performance maturity. This recognition highlights Moolchand’s commitment to protecting our patients’ medical and personal information and providing complete confidentiality in all aspects of patient care. Moolchand has received the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Commendation Certificate in the Healthcare category. We are India’s first multi-specialty hospital to receive this award. The award was instituted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to recognize and encourage Indian manufacturing and service sector organizations to strive for excellence. (Valid 2009)
Moolchand has received the CII-EXIM Bank Commendation Certificate for Strong Commitment to Excel in the Healthcare category. This award is jointly instituted by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Export Import Bank of India (EXIM). The award is modeled on the European Forum for Quality Management (EFQM). Moolchand has received the International Asia Pacific Quality Award for Quest for Excellence in the Healthcare category. Started in 1985, this award is given to organizations that are recognized for quality and continuous improvement of goods, services and quality of life in the Asia Pacific Region. (Valid 2010)

Started in 1984, the award is given to organizations that are recognized as drivers of innovation by following the path of continuous improvement. Shravan Talwar is a co-promoter of the Moolchand Group and a trustee of The Moolchand Trust. He has served as the Managing Director of Moolchand Healthcare since 2004 and has played a pivotal role in its transformation.
Shravan is viewed to be a leader in the healthcare services space in India. He has developed deep expertise in hospital design and development, rebranding and marketing, new service development, physician change management and procurement.
Prior to assuming his current role in 2004, Shravan was associated with McKinsey and Company in Europe, US and India for 6+ years as a part of its healthcare practice and focused on operations excellence, strategy and corporate finance engagements.
Shravan earned his MBA with distinction from Kellogg Business School of Northwestern University and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Computational and Applied Math and Economics from Rice University. At Rice he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Vibhu Talwar is a co-promoter of the Moolchand Group and a trustee of The Moolchand Trust. He has served as the Managing Director of Moolchand Healthcare since 2002 and has played a pivotal role in its transformation.
Vibhu is viewed to be a leader in the healthcare services space in India. He has developed deep expertise in healthcare quality, systems and process development, operations excellence and organization design and development.
Prior to assuming his current role in 2002, Vibhu was associated with Salomon Smith Barney (real estate M&A) and JP Morgan (industrials/consumer goods M&A) in New York, London and Singapore for 4+ years. He focused on corporate finance, cross border M&A, leveraged buyouts and mezzanine finance.
Vibhu graduated with honours in Mathematics and Economics from Oberlin College. At Oberlin he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was awarded the Hanson Prize for distinctive work in the field of economics.
